A very well written article published in World Magazine 1-29-04 (reprinted with permission):

Other articles I have written.  These aren't any fool-proof solutions, but hopefully will give you some ideas as you discuss your concerns, and plan ways to make your school events stress-free.

Please share your feedback. If you would like to share any of these articles with parent committees or school boards, please let me know.  I would like to know how they are used, if they are helpful, and if there are other topics that would be of interest.  I would be happy to provide multiple copies for your upcoming meetings upon request.  The articles above can be reprinted with permission and appropriate credits included.  World Magazine was kind enough to allow me to reprint their article here, and for that I am very appreciative.  Please contact them for permission to reprint or use their article.

I will try to update different ideas as I converse with various people across the country.  Anyone who has ideas, concerns, or just wants to talk about these issues is always welcome to contact me.  This is a very important part of our industry, and I always enjoy hearing from different people through the entire process; from students to faculty to parents to other DJ's.  I appreciate the individuals and schools who have taken time to discuss with me their ideas and concerns, and respect those who ARE concerned and are willing to step up to impress upon their youth appropriate guidelines and ethics.
